day two-->intro to IDL class. (a.k.a random codes)

Today seemed to go by faster than yesterday. In the morning we learned about how black holes and galaxies formed. During the afternoon we also (tried) to learn how to do IDL (I'm pretty sure that's what it's called anyway). The way it was taught was confusing and I'm sure nobody benefitted from it at all. The instructor just told us to type codes in the computer and what the codes meant...I guess. But they didn't make any sense at all and I was borred the whole time. I tried to pay attention but it was hard. And unfortunately we have to do this until Thursday, which I'm not too fond of.
