last day-->presentation time!

The last day was very nerve wrecking. I was really anxious and nervous, but when it was all over and done with I felt so much better. Afterwards I went out to lunch at Applebee's with the interns and the rest of the people in the insight lab, then I decided to go back to work and help them gather what was theirs from the other two rooms we worked in throughout the summer. I'm sad to see the internship come to an end, it has been a pleasure working with everyone and I hope that I will see them all again.

day thirty-four-->practice, practice, practice

Today I finished up my presentation and did a practice run with the rest of the interns.

day thirty-three-->working

Today I worked on finishing my slide show for Friday. It was hard I must admit, especially since I had no other person in my group to discuss my ideas with, but it worked out fine. I talked to Joe and Bob about it and they helped out quite a bit which made a big difference in my presentation. By the end of the day, most of my slides were done. Now all I have to do is add some extra details to them and come up with a script. I should be done before the run-throughs tomorrow.

day thirty-two-->pretty nice day

Today some of the interns and I went to a hologram class where we were told the difference between holography and photography. Also they took us down in the basement where we made our own holograms, which was pretty cool. From there we went to lunch and then went to a meeting with Jake where we did practice presentations for Friday. I still have some more work to do before then though.

day thirty-one-->technical difficulties

I spent most of today reassembling the cube with some of my peers. It didn't take us that long to do, but the hard part was connecting the projectors to the computer and finding all of the necessary cords. We still have some problems, but we have until Friday to work them out so I'm not worried about it.

day thirty-->figuring out what to do

Today I basically got a feel for what I'm suppose to finish up for next week's big presentation. I also found out that I have to come up with some kind of method for people to come and see my powerpoint, this is going to be very challenging. On the other hand, I have to get some information from Jake reguarding the cube and its purpose (things of that sort), which shouldn't be that hard. So far, everything has been running fairly smooth, which I like, but I think next week will be somewhat of a challenge.

day twenty-nine-->dey-jah-vew

Stuck on the same things I've been stuck on for the past two days. Nothing has changed at all.
